Its the first stage that weighing up the raw materials according to the product recipe by using accurate scales.
Grinding Process
This process helps to minimize the large particles in some row materials to get it fine particles that will help to get homogeneous tablet mass during mixing process.
Granulation Process
This process helps to convert the hard particles of some raw material to porous particles.
This process helps also to get higher density for the low density raw materials that will help to get dust-free raw material.
Granulation process helps to get free flowing powder and dust-free powder that will helps in the mixing process to get homogeneous tablet mass with less waste as well as will reduce the head pressure force of tablet-press machine.
Sifting Process
This process helps to get information about the particle distribution of the raw material and also for the tablet mass that will help the manufacture process in the tablet press machine.
Mixing Process
This process helps to mix the ingredients in a recipe in stages and that depends on the physical and chemical properties of the raw materials in a recipe.
The ingredients in a recipe are two types:
Active materials. Vitamins, minerals, amino acids and herb extracts.
Fillers: Binder, lubricants, anti-caking agent, disintegrate agent and sweeteners.
Tableting Process
The feed of this process is the tablet mass which comes from the mixing process. The tablet mass flows in the tablet machine to get a suitable pressure force between the upper and lower punch to get a tablet with enough hardness depends on the punch form and also on the tablet mass properties.
Coating Process
This process helps to make a film of natural material round the whole tablet. This film helps to swallow the tablet by sliding into the mouth.
The coating film round the tablet helps also to protect the tablet from the effect of the moisture, the sun light and the oxygen gas in the air.
The coating film round the tablet helps also to mask the bad taste and odor of some raw materials in the tablets.
Packaging Process
This process is to choose a suitable can that made of suitable material depends on the product that will collect in this can.
